What happens after I fill out the enquiry form?
Once you’ve submitted the enquiry form, we’ll reach out to you via email to arrange a time and day for an initial meet and greet. This free 15-20 minute consultation allows us to get to know you and your pup, and includes a short walk with your dog. Afterward, we’ll finalise the dates for your preferred walks and send you an invoice to confirm your booking.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated for a walk?
Yes, all dogs must have their initial vaccinations completed.
What if my dog is a little bit aggressive?
If your dog shows signs of aggression, please inform us during the booking process. We assess each situation individually to ensure the safety of your dog, our walkers, and other dogs. Our experienced walkers can often handle dogs with mild behavioural issues, but if we determine that the aggression poses a risk, we may not be able to provide our services. We recommend seeking professional training for aggressive behaviour to ensure a safe and enjoyable walking experience for everyone.
Do we need to provide you with a key?
Yes, you will need to provide us with a key or a secure means of access to your property if you are not home during the scheduled walk times. This ensures that our walkers can pick up and return your dog safely without any disruptions to your schedule. We take the security of your home very seriously and will keep your keys in a secure location as arranged. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can arrange to meet the walker at your home to hand over and collect your dog otherwise organise a drop-off location to our walker.
What if it’s raining on the day of the booked walk?
We walk dogs in most weather conditions, including rain. However, for the safety and comfort of your dog, our walkers, and to ensure the quality of the walk, we may shorten the walk during heavy rain or severe weather conditions. If the weather is extreme (e.g., thunderstorms, heavy downpours, extreme heat), we may reschedule the walk for another time or day. We will contact you to discuss any changes and ensure that your dog's needs are met appropriately. Please let us know if your dog has any specific preferences or issues with walking in the rain.
What if my dog has specific requirement? (allergies/medical)
If your dog has any specific requirements such as allergies, medical conditions, or special dietary needs, please inform us at the time of booking. During our walks, we often provide single ingredient dog treats and water, so it is crucial that you let us know of any allergies your dog may have. We will make every effort to accommodate your dog's needs and ensure their safety and comfort during the walk. Our walkers are experienced and trained to handle various medical and dietary requirements, but it is essential that we have all relevant information to provide the best care possible. Please provide detailed instructions and any necessary medications or special equipment your dog may need.
What does my dog need for the walk?
For the walk, your dog will need a secure well-fitting collar. If your dog uses a harness, please provide that as well. Please ensure that all equipment is in good condition to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for your dog. If you have any special instructions or additional items your dog needs, please let us know when booking.
